Red Sox pick up option on V-Mart, let Varitek go.
Say it ain’t so folks… V-tek is on his way out in Beantown. The captain and quarterback of the team has been replaced by Victor Martinez when they exercised V-Mart’s option. Is anyone really surprised though with how things have been going lately in the off-season? I guess my next question would be who is next to hop aboard the SS train in Boston with Gonzo hitting the market? Good luck Tek you’ll be missed..

Tek exercised his option. Apparently he’s OK with playing second fiddle to V-Mart for $3M.

Well there rosebud if you look at the date the story was blogged about before the news came out about Varitek staying. So the blog again if you have any type of observational skills at all was BEFORE Varitek decided to exercise his OWN option, and as a dedicated viewer pointed out he did in fact re-sign. Nice way to take a dig and disguise yourself too hammer.. Classy. We’ll be back up and running with trash once we settle back in. SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVVVVVVVEEEEEEEE!!!!

You’re right. Shavetown sports posts are hilarious. I hope Jason Bay re-signs with the Sox so we can read about how welcome he is in Boston. The giggles will flow that day.
I think the point of my first post was pretty clear. Keep bringing the funny and leave the sports opinions to those in the know. I will now continue on with my evening lathering up in cooking grease watching the A-team. I smell like a trash bag full of trots..

There he is again folks.. Anonymous McQuack is in the building running his suck while hiding behind the curtain. Here it is plain and simple, we voice our opinions on things that are trash and in the news, whether it’s accurate or not. I am not on a payroll and answer to no one. We have a following of friends who we do this for and who get a kick out of it, and we’re not doing this for anything but that. So guess what Lieutenant invisible scivvies? Don’t ever come back. Speaking of journalistic integrity and accuracy, when did ‘ become an acceptable replacement for the letter T? One of 3 things going on here.
A) You weren’t sure how to spell ‘what’ so you got started, panicked and ended with the ‘ because the T just wasn’t coming to mind.
B) You got confused and thought you were still trolling for minors in a teeny bopper chatroom where that kind of slang and abberviation nonsense is considered cool and helps you date girls (or boys?) who weren’t yet born when you were pulling your bondo covered T-bird into the high school parking lot wearing your members only jacket.
C) You have an terrible fear of the letter T because you were hammer raped in the backside by a large man in the state penitentiary who went by the name T-Bone.

Um yea I did because the RED SOX exercised V-Marts option and me being someone with an opinion and brain thought huh, sounds to me they made their choice. So as our eloquent and sharp reader commented under this post stated “V-Tek exercised his option of $3mil to play second fiddle to V-mart”. I posted this on Nov 9th when if you read the link to FOX sports says Varitek let go, so I assumed that when the sox pick a guy to exercise an option at catcher and it wasn’t V-tek that he would be hitting the bricks. Well he likes Heidi Watney A LOT and Boston so he swallowed his pride and took the 3-mil. So “Captain Semantics” at the time of this post I was very accurate, and now that V-tek exercised his option a day or so later I guess it makes me wrong.. If you want me to post a correction like the papers I can, but the reader corrected it and I left it alone..
